* Tots N Teens Pediatric Housecalls, LLC strives to provide quality health care in a way that supports your busy life. Same-day visits are generally available. Telehealth visits can be a great way to receive health care, however they are not the best practice for well visits and sports physicals. These visits require face to face visits due to the types of evaluation needed. There have been many times a new heart murmur or elevated blood pressure (yes even in children) is identified on a physical exam. Infants who are not yet walking need to have their hips evaluated. In addition, growing infants and toddlers require weight and height measurements to evaluate their growth. Even for sick visits there are exams that cannot be done telehealth without special equipment at the patients’ home, such as looking in the ears. For this reason, these types of visits will not be done via telehealth.
